About Wes Moore
Writer. Pastor. Preacher. Disciple.
Wes Moore is a former atheist who came to Christ in a powerful, Paul-like experience more than 20 years ago. Since that life-changing event, he has been completely consumed with the Holy Christian Bible, and its author, the Creator God himself.
Wes was born and raised in Danville, VA. His father was an alcoholic and left when Wes was just 10 years old. After becoming an atheist, and many years of struggling with drinking and severe depression, Wes joined the US Air Force and tried to turn his life around. That turnabout came full circle when he met Jesus Christ in 1997.
Wes has pastored several churches and written a number of fiction and non-fiction books on subjects he sees as important in 21st century culture. He is also the founder of The Pewsitter's Seminary, a video ministry which strives to bring seminary-level knowledge to the everyday believer.
Wes received his Masters in Business Administration from Amberton University and his Masters of Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College and Seminary. He also has a Bachelors in Business Administration and Bachelors in Biblical Studies. He serves as an adjunct economics, business, and marketing instructor at a technical college in South Carolina. He lives in the Charleston, SC, area with his wife and four children.
